OKX Unveils Simplified Leveraged Trading with X-Perps in Simple Mode
OKX has introduced X-Perps in Simple Mode, allowing users to trade with up to 10x leverage across more than 80 markets covering various asset classes. To access this feature, users must complete OKX's appropriateness assessment, a short questionnaire that confirms their understanding of leveraged products.
In Simple Mode, users can quickly open and close positions with one tap and adjust their leverage in real-time. They can also set stop-loss and take-profit levels simultaneously when opening a trade. The entry price is locked before the user confirms the trade, eliminating potential slippage issues.
The main difference between X-Perps in Simple Mode and regular X-Perps (Exchange Mode) lies in the trading interface. While both modes offer the same underlying contract with up to 10x leverage, Simple Mode provides a more streamlined experience for users who want to open leveraged positions quickly without needing extensive knowledge of the order book.
Users can access over 80 markets across various asset classes, including crypto, stocks, commodities, and ETFs. X-Perps in Simple Mode settles in USD, USDC, or USDG, giving users flexibility in their margin currency. The default leverage is set to 3x, but users can adjust this up to 10x before confirming the trade.
