OKX Warns Users of High-Risk Transfers Amid Tighter AML Reviews
OKX CEO Star Xu has issued a warning to users about high-risk cryptocurrency transfers that may trigger anti-money laundering (AML) reviews lasting up to 15 days or longer.
Xu explained that certain transfers can lead to compliance checks, which may restrict account functions and access to funds while the review is ongoing.
He specifically mentioned Telegram guarantee groups and Huiwang-linked transfers as examples of higher-risk funding channels that may carry greater source-of-funds risks during AML reviews.
