On-Chain Metrics Echo Past Cycle Bottoms in Bitcoin
Crypto analyst Crypto Dan has identified similarities between current on-chain metrics and those observed at previous cycle bottoms in Bitcoin's price history.
The share of Bitcoin's realized market capitalization held for between one week and one month has dropped to around 5%, indicating a shrinking pool of recently transacted coins.
This is consistent with the tail end of bear markets, where speculative interest fades and only committed holders remain active.
While it's too early to confirm a definitive bottom, Crypto Dan notes that low short-term holder participation and price stabilization often precede major upward moves.
