Ondo Finance's Steady Growth Faces Price Pressure Amid Analyst Predictions
Ondo Finance has been quietly building its position in the rapidly growing tokenized real-world asset market, despite the ONDO token's struggles to recover from its all-time high. The RWA market has reached $38.14 billion, excluding stablecoins, with Ondo accounting for about $3.61 billion and a market share of roughly 9.5%. This puts it among the largest platforms in the sector.
Ondo's biggest strength lies in tokenized equities, where estimates suggest its market share ranges between 58% and 70%. Its major products include USDY and OUSG, providing exposure to companies like Circle, NVIDIA, and Tesla. The broader RWA market is expanding quickly, with tokenized assets surpassing $38 billion in distributed value and tokenized stocks exceeding $1 billion.
The number of ONDO holders has surpassed 228,000, with tokenized stocks accounting for 80.2% and tokenized funds making up another 12.6%. Analyst Dami-Defi points out that holder growth is more important than TVL, stating 'EVERYONE IS CHASING TVL. SMART MONEY IS WATCHING HOLDERS.'
Despite growing RWA adoption and expanding ecosystem, the ONDO price remains under pressure, trading around $0.33, $0.35, roughly 85% below its all-time high of $2.15. Some large holders may be reducing their exposure, with 2,437 whale wallets recording a net outflow of $4.06 million over 30 days.
Analysts have identified potential accumulation ranges and targets for the ONDO token. One analyst sees $0.30, $0.50 as an accumulation range, while another user suggests $0.19, $0.25 as a possible zone. A 3-day close above $0.5394 could strengthen the bullish setup, with possible targets at $1, $1.60, $3, and $5.
