Ondo Launches New Execution Network, Combining Speed with Decentralization
Ondo Finance has launched its new execution network, dubbed 'the evolution' of Ondo Chain. According to CEO Ian De Bode, this new architecture separates execution from settlement and verification while maintaining user control over their assets.
The traditional approach, used by most blockchains, combines these three processes on the same ledger, which can make them too slow for high-performance trading. The Ondo Network aims to provide a faster and more private alternative, rivaling centralized exchanges in speed.
De Bode explained that the new network is not just an upgrade, but rather a reimplementation of the original plan with Ondo Chain. He said it will not be running parallel to the old blockchain, effectively replacing it.
