Ondo's Price Drops as Market Corrects After Multi-Week Rally
Ondo (ONDO) has experienced a decline of around 4.5% in the last 24 hours, largely due to profit taking and technical selling following its recent strong multi-week rally.
This drop is not attributed to any new negative fundamental event, but rather a natural pullback after significant gains. Ondo Finance cleared a long-running SEC probe, secured expanded FINRA authorization, and explored a $250-500 million acquisition in the past, pushing ONDO up by around 6% to about $0.41 on the day the news broke.
The recent positive developments also contributed to a bullish medium-term narrative around ONDO's ecosystem, with its new Ondo Perps derivatives venue surpassing $300 million in 24-hour volume.
