One Piece Manga Debuts on Solana as Tokenized Collectible
The first issue of the Shonen Jump magazine where One Piece debuted is now available on Solana as a tokenized collectible. The 1997 magazine, graded and sealed by Phygitals, was announced by Solana on Friday and is now trading on-chain.
With only 118 copies worldwide, this rare issue carries significant value. Grading firms count the ungraded first prints in the low hundreds, while graded slabs trade separately. In March, Heritage Auctions ran a Beckett-graded copy of the issue, which fetched a premium price.
The tokenized One Piece manga is part of Solana's expanding collectibles market, where buyers can skip the guesswork and rely on authenticated slabs rather than photo listings. Phygitals backs every token with one graded item held in vault custody, allowing holders to request shipment at any point and retire the digital copy.
