Only Three Crypto Savings Plan Providers in Germany Clearly Disclose Fees
Crypto savings plans have become increasingly popular in Germany, but many providers fail to clearly disclose their fees and terms. In a recent survey conducted by cryptoticker.io on August 14, 2026, nine providers were reviewed for their publicly accessible fee, savings plan, and terms pages.
The survey found that only three providers - Bison, justTRADE, and Kraken - provide complete enough information to derive the cost of a savings plan execution. The other six providers either did not disclose any costs or had incomplete information.
Bison's app charges a proportional spread of 1.25 percent on Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other cryptocurrencies, with no separate order fee listed. justTRADE offers a crypto ETP savings plan from €25 with no execution charge, while Kraken charges 1 percent on recurring buys and 0.40 percent in the spot order book.
The survey highlights that many providers use spreads instead of order fees, making it difficult to compare costs. A provider stating 0 euros in execution charges plus a spread is not necessarily cheaper than one naming a 1 percent fee with a tight spread.
