OpenGradient Clears Transparency Filing Hurdle with 'Complete' Status
OpenGradient's B-1 token has completed its transparency filing under Blockworks' Token Transparency Framework, achieving 'Complete' status with zero gaps. This milestone is significant for the decentralized AI compute network, as it provides a comprehensive and verifiable disclosure of all relevant information.
The filing, published on August 18, 2026, covers various aspects of the OPG token, including team backgrounds, token structure, allocation breakdowns, and vesting schedules. One notable aspect is the fixed total supply of 1 billion tokens, with an allocation that favors ecosystem growth over insider enrichment.
The largest chunk, 40%, goes to the ecosystem, while the Foundation and Core Contributors each receive 15%. Investors and advisors collectively hold 10%, staking rewards account for another 10%, liquidity and launch provisions take 6%, and an airdrop allocation rounds things out at 4%.
OpenGradient's Hybrid AI Compute Architecture (HACA) is built on a verifiable approach, where specialized GPU nodes paired with Trusted Execution Environments handle computation, and separate full nodes verify results using one of three methods. This creates an auditable trail of every AI inference job and allows anyone to verify that an AI workload ran as claimed without needing to re-run the entire computation.
The network runs on CometBFT consensus and is EVM-compatible, supporting existing Ethereum tooling and smart contracts. It has processed over 2 million verifiable inferences and more than 500,000 verified cryptographic proofs as of the filing period.
