OpenPayd and Circle Bring Near-Instant Fiat Payouts via Stablecoin Infrastructure
OpenPayd has integrated its services with Circle Payments Network (CPN), enabling instant fiat payouts for businesses. The partnership allows OpenPayd clients to move cross-border payments over regulated stablecoins, USDC and EURC, without having to manage their own blockchain infrastructure.
The two live corridors, euro-to-Brazilian real and sterling-to-Mexican peso transfers, settle near-instantly, according to the announcement. Circle Technology Services operates CPN, which carries value in regulated stablecoins and pays out through local banking rails.
OpenPayd handles over $280 billion in annual volume and serves clients like eToro, Kraken, OKX, and B2C2. The company's director of business development, Michael Treacy, stated that clients can now access the speed and efficiency of stablecoin infrastructure while continuing to make global payments in fiat currencies.
