OpenPayd and Circle Unite to Streamline Cross-Border Fiat Payments
OpenPayd has integrated Circle's Payments Network to enable businesses to make near-instant cross-border fiat payments. This integration uses stablecoins, such as USDC and EURC, for settlement without requiring businesses to manage blockchain infrastructure directly.
The partnership connects blockchain-based settlement with existing banking and local payment networks, allowing businesses to continue working with traditional fiat currencies while accessing faster settlement capabilities provided by stablecoin infrastructure.
OpenPayd's integration with Circle Payments Network is already supporting international payment corridors, including transactions moving from euros to Brazilian real and from British pounds to Mexican pesos. Settlements are taking place in near real time.
