OpenSea Expands Solana NFT Trading Across Its Multi-Chain Marketplace
OpenSea has expanded its marketplace to include Solana NFT trading, allowing users to discover and buy collections from the network alongside assets from over 25 supported blockchains.
The integration covers Solana-based collections including Claynosaurz, Mad Lads, Collector Crypt, and Phygitals, which were added on August 31. OpenSea's co-founder and CEO Devin Finzer said that his company wants its marketplace to serve collectors regardless of the blockchain their assets use.
Finzer stated, 'OpenSea should be the home for everything you collect, no matter which chain it lives on.'
Solana joins over 25 networks supported by OpenSea, which now combines NFT trading, fungible token trading, cross-chain swaps, and portfolio management through a single platform.
The company's OS2 platform, released in May 2025, introduced trading for fungible and non-fungible tokens and removed the need for users to manually bridge or swap assets for some cross-chain transactions. OpenSea recorded 467,322 monthly active addresses in May 2025 following the launch.
