OpenSea has integrated its market data with Perplexity Computer, providing AI agents with real-time access to trading activity across more than 25 blockchains. This integration allows users to ask about tokens, NFTs, collections, and market momentum, drawing directly from OpenSea's live data rather than relying only on standard price feeds.
The partnership enables Perplexity to cite the results it uses, giving users a way to verify answers in a market that can change within hours. This shift is significant because blockchain market activity is becoming a native information source for AI agents.
OpenSea has evolved from an NFT marketplace into a platform supporting token trading, cross-chain swaps, and portfolio management across multiple networks, after processing billions of dollars in transactions since launch. Its data is now gaining value outside OpenSea itself, potentially turning the platform into a market-information provider for external AI systems.
