OpenSea is reviving its support for Solana-based NFTs after a four-year absence. The platform will allow buying, selling, and trading of popular Solana collections like Mad Lads and Claynosaurz starting this week.

This move aligns with OpenSea's broader strategy to become a multichain trading platform supporting various crypto assets across networks including Ethereum and Polygon.

The return to Solana comes amid increased activity on the network, offering a new gateway for NFTs despite a smaller market compared to its peak years. OpenSea aims to compete again with Magic Eden, which had dominated Solana NFT trading during OpenSea's absence.
