OpenSea Reopens Doors to Solana NFT Trading After Four-Year Hiatus

NFT marketplace OpenSea has resumed support for Solana-based NFT trading more than four years after launching a beta version of the feature in April 2022.

The company initially rolled out the Solana NFT trading beta for 165 collections before later discontinuing support, but users can now directly buy, sell and trade Solana-based NFTs on OpenSea with the relaunch.

Solana is the first non-Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) chain to receive NFT trading support since OpenSea ended its beta program.
