OpenSea Reopens Solana NFT Trading After Four-Year Hiatus

OpenSea has reopened its doors to Solana NFTs more than four years after initially scrapping its beta in 2022. The marketplace now allows users to buy, sell, and bid on Solana collections, including Claynosaurz, Mad Lads, BoDoggos, Collector Crypt, and Phygitals.

Since the beta wound down, no non-EVM chain other than Solana has received NFT support on OpenSea. The launch comes as Magic Eden pulls back to Solana, a trend that contrasts with the broader market's decline in NFT trading volumes.

OpenSea's OS2 interface now supports 25 blockchains, and users can search, buy, sell, and bid on Solana collections directly within the platform. This expansion marks OpenSea's return to Solana after it initially supported the chain with fungible tokens in April 2025.
