Optimism Forecasts Circulating Supply to Reach 2.5B by April 2027

Optimism's Year 4 budget update and Year 5 outlook forecast that circulating supply will reach 2.504 billion OP by April 2027, representing a significant increase from the current total of 2.161 billion.

The projected growth includes 200 million ecosystem tokens and 47.6 million contributor tokens entering circulation during this period.

According to the update, Optimism committed approximately 150 million OP in Year 4, which is roughly one third below the previous year's commitments.
