OranjeBTC Unveils Bitcoin-Focused DIGY11 ETF for Brazil
OranjeBTC, a leading bitcoin treasury company in Brazil, is set to introduce DIGY11, an exchange-traded fund (ETF) that offers exposure to shares issued by Strategy and Strive. The ETF will distribute income received from managing these assets each month in Brazilian currency.
The DIGY11 ETF has been developed with the goal of opening local markets to bitcoin digital credit options. To be eligible for addition, issuers must hold at least 50% of their total assets in Bitcoin and have a minimum of $4,000 worth of BTC. This will limit the fund to stocks that are focused on Bitcoin.
The DIGY11 ETF is being managed by 3R Investimentos, based on a reference index provided by MarketVector, and administered by Banco Daycoval. The ETF offers exchange rate protection and is expected to debut on Brazil's B3 in September.
'We developed DIGY11 based on the revolution that Strategy and Strive are promoting in the US capital markets,' said Guilherme Gomes, founder and CEO of OranjeBTC. 'These instruments combine recurring income with high asset protection, backed by some of the largest Bitcoin balance sheets in the world.'
