Orbs Names Ran Hammer as New CEO
Orbs, a decentralized Layer-3 blockchain infrastructure provider for advanced on-chain trading, has appointed Ran Hammer as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Hammer takes over from Nadav Shemesh, who is moving into the role of Executive Chairman. As CEO, Hammer will lead Orbs' next stage of growth and development, building on the company's existing technology and ecosystem.
Hammer has been with Orbs since its inception in 2017 and previously served as Chief Business Officer. During his time at Orbs, he led integration efforts across the protocol suite and worked closely with teams and partners to bring Orbs-powered products into use across the decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem.
'Having been part of Orbs from the beginning, I've had the opportunity to see the technology, ecosystem, and community develop firsthand,' said Hammer. 'My focus as CEO will be on building on that foundation, working closely with our team and partners to expand the role Orbs can play in advancing the adoption of on-chain finance across retail, institutional, professional, and agenic flows.'
