P2P.org's Betsabe Botaitis Tackles Unconventional CFO Role
Betsabe Botaitis is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at P2P.org, a staking provider that operates on over 40 networks. She took on this role in January 2026 after serving as CFO and Treasurer at Hedera.
P2P.org has secured more than $10 billion in assets across its networks, with seven years of zero slashing events behind it. However, the company's non-custodial model means that almost none of these assets touch P2P.org's balance sheet.
The CFO position at a staking provider is unusual because it does not involve managing a large amount of other people's coins. Instead, Botaitis' revenue line comes from a percentage of the rewards earned by validators on the Ethereum network, which amounts to around $3.4 million per year.
