Palantir's Q2 earnings report has sent its shares soaring 13% in after-hours trading, as the company's revenue exceeded expectations. The software firm reported a 93% increase in revenue to $1.935 billion, beating analyst forecasts of $1.801 billion.

The US commercial business segment was the standout performer, surging 149% year-over-year to $764 million. CEO Alex Karp attributed this growth to robust demand for AI-integrated solutions across corporate America.

Palantir also raised its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to a range of $8.150 billion to $8.158 billion, representing roughly 82% growth at the midpoint. The company ended the quarter with $9.2 billion in cash and adjusted free cash flow margin came in at 63%.

The company's performance is notable for its implications on the tech sector tied to cryptocurrency. While Palantir is not a crypto company, it maintains its Foundry for Crypto product, a suite of advanced analytics tools built specifically for cryptocurrency firms.
