Pardoned Crypto Investor Funds 75% of Reform UK's Donations
Crypto investor Ben Delo, who was pardoned by Trump last year for a US banking secrecy violation tied to his firm BitMEX, has funded 75% of Reform UK's donations in its latest quarter.
According to the party's disclosure, Delo contributed £4 million out of £5.3 million raised between April and June, making him the party's biggest donor during this period.
Reform UK's total fundraising is down from over £9 million in each of the previous two quarters, but it still managed to surpass its rival parties' donations.
The party has been under scrutiny for undisclosed donations, including a £5 million gift to leader Nigel Farage by crypto entrepreneur Christopher Harborne, which is now being investigated by Parliament.
