Paris FC Secures Luca Koleosho on Long-Term Deal Amid Crypto-Backed Football Growth
Paris FC has made a significant signing in young striker Luca Koleosho from Burnley, securing his services on a long-term deal reportedly running through 2031.
Koleosho, born on September 15, 2004, initially joined Burnley from Espanyol B for approximately $3 million in 2023. However, after limited playing time at Espanyol and a loan spell with Paris FC, the French club has exercised their option to purchase him permanently.
The deal marks another step forward for crypto-backed football, which continues to grow in Europe's top leagues. Several clubs now have ownership ties to blockchain ventures, cryptocurrency exchanges, or fintech firms, including PSG, Barcelona, and Juventus, through platforms like Chiliz and Socios.
