PayPal Bolsters Stablecoin Push as Q2 Earnings Reflect Growing Crypto Role
PayPal highlighted its growth in stablecoins and AI-driven payment tools as part of its second-quarter strategy, which saw revenue reach $8.68 billion.
The company reported earnings of $1.26 per share on Tuesday, down from $1.30 per share in the same period last year but above analyst estimates of $1.28.
PayPal also recorded an $81 million non-GAAP adjustment related to gains and losses from strategic investments and crypto assets held for investment.
