PayPal Dives Deeper into Crypto with Stablecoin Expansion Plans
PayPal has reported a significant increase in total payment volume for Q2, reaching $486.4 billion, up 10% year over year.
This marks a notable achievement for the company, which has been expanding its services to include crypto-related offerings.
The reorganization of PayPal's structure has created a standalone division dedicated to Payment Services & Crypto, signaling a stronger focus on crypto adoption and integration.
According to the company's presentation, stablecoins are listed as one of three areas for expansion under 'innovating with discipline', alongside agentic commerce and identity and biometrics.
