Payward Eyes U.S. Crypto Perpetuals Entry via Hyperliquid Structure
Payward is pushing to enter the U.S. crypto perpetuals market through its proposed arrangement with Hyperliquid's decentralized exchange.
The plan, which still requires CFTC approval, would allow Bitnomial, a Payward subsidiary, to offer registered U.S. users access to select crypto perpetual contracts tied to markets on the exchange and its underlying Layer 1 blockchain.
Hypothetically, this could take around 10-12 months as regulators weigh revised rules for custody and routing standards.
The push comes as more companies seek a workable U.S. framework for perpetual contracts, which face unresolved regulatory questions domestically but remain common offshore.
