peaq Integrates World ID for Secure Human Verification in Machine Interactions

peaq, a layer-1 blockchain designed for machine economies, has integrated World ID into its peaqOS stack. This move enables machines and autonomous devices to verify human interactions while keeping personal information secure.

World ID uses advanced cryptographic protocols, including iris verification through physical orb devices, to generate anonymous proofs of uniqueness. It confirms two things: the user is a genuine human and they haven't created another identity in the system.

The integration adds a privacy-preserving identity layer to peaqOS's broader machine application stack. This architecture handles machine identities, wallets, data access, and coordination across multiple blockchain networks.
