Pendle's sUSDe Yields Hit Three-Month High Amid Fixed-Rate Demand Surge
Pendle's fixed-rate DeFi product has seen a surge in demand, pushing yields on its sUSDe markets to a three-month high of 5% APY. This marks a premium over the underlying on-chain yield of around 4.2%, making it an attractive option for investors seeking predictable returns.
The 5% figure is particularly notable given that it lands above Sky's Savings Rate, another prominent competing yield product in DeFi, which currently sits at 3.6%. This puts Pendle's fixed offerings roughly 140 basis points higher.
Pendle has absorbed around half of all the yield generated by sUSDe, one of DeFi's most popular synthetic assets, through its infrastructure. The company's sUSDS fixed-yield market attracted $50 million in total value locked within its first two weeks of existence.
