Pentagon Returns with Comeback Track 'Coward', Celebrating 10 Years of Music
K-pop group Pentagon is back on the scene after nearly three years of hiatus. The seven-member group, consisting of Jinho, Hui, Hongseok, Shinwon, Yeon One, KINO, and Wooseok, celebrated their 10th anniversary with a comeback track titled 'Coward.' Written and produced by KINO, the song tells the emotional journey of hesitation and finding courage to reunite with someone from the past.
The group's return was not without its challenges. Due to contract agreements and schedule adjustments, the project took nearly two years to come to fruition. Hongseok explained that each member had committed projects under different agencies, making it difficult to coordinate schedules and secure trademark rights for Pentagon.
Despite their busy individual projects, the members found a way to make it work. They recorded together late into the night, practicing choreography from 11 pm until 2-3 am. Jinho expressed his gratitude and happiness to bring this project to life despite the obstacles, saying 'I'm happy to get to celebrate with UNIVERSE and hope they feel happier than we do.'
