Pentagon Signs Seven-Year Deals for Missile System Production Boost

The U.S. Department of Defense has awarded seven-year framework contracts to General Dynamics and Lockheed Martin for missile-defense system manufacturing.

The agreements focus on expanding production capacity for the PAC-3 MSE and THAAD interceptor systems, with ambitious goals to triple PAC-3 MSE output and quadruple THAAD manufacturing.

General Dynamics will manufacture critical components such as motor cases, seeker housings, midsection components, and shroud-deployment mechanisms, while Lockheed Martin serves as the principal contractor for both programs.
