Phantom Adds Support for Robinhood Chain, Expanding L2 Blockchain Ecosystem
Phantom, a popular cryptocurrency wallet, has announced that it is now supporting Robinhood Chain (RHC), a new layer 2 blockchain from financial services company Robinhood.
RHC is an Ethereum-based L2 chain built using the Arbitrum Platform. Since its public mainnet launch on July 1, RHC's network activity has seen a significant increase, with over 9 million transactions per day recorded on July 22, representing a 27.5% increase from the previous week.
With Phantom's support for RHC, users can now check their balances, send and receive tokens, and perform swaps on the chain. Additionally, Phantom will also enable bridging between RHC and other supported networks.
RHC charges a gas fee in Ether (ETH), which is currently priced at $1,874.98. However, for some swap transactions within the same network, Phantom will bear the network fees through its 'gasless swap' feature.
