Phantom Ditches Support for Monad Network by August 26

Phantom, one of the most widely used multi-chain wallets in crypto, will stop supporting the Monad network on August 26. Users holding MON tokens or any other Monad-native assets within Phantom will need to move or swap their holdings before the deadline.

The wallet plans to send in-app notifications guiding users through the migration process. This comes after a relatively short-lived integration that lasted around nine months, from November 2025 when Monad's mainnet launched.

Monad is positioned as a high-performance Layer-1 blockchain built on parallel execution and EVM compatibility. The latter part is actually a silver lining for affected users, as migrating to wallets like MetaMask or Rabby is relatively straightforward due to their EVM compatibility.
