Phantom Drops Sui Network Support on September 24
Phantom, a popular Web3 wallet, will end its support for the Sui network on September 24. This decision was announced by Phantom's official X account on August 24.
The support termination means that users will no longer be able to check their Sui balances, send or receive assets, exchange them, or connect with compatible apps within the Phantom wallet. However, users will still have access to their Sui assets via other wallets or by importing their secret recovery phrase or private key into a compatible app.
Phantom recommends that users move their Sui assets to another supported wallet before September 24. The company also notes that native SUI holders can exchange their tokens for wrapped SUI on the Solana network until September 24, with Phantom waiving its fees for this cross-chain swap.
This decision marks the end of Phantom's support for eight networks, with only eight remaining supported by the wallet. Additionally, Phantom will discontinue its support for the Monad network, which it had initially started supporting in November 2025, after about nine months.
