Phantom Dumps Sui Blockchain Support in Mid-2026
Phantom Wallet is ending support for the Sui blockchain on September 24, 2026. This means users will no longer be able to view, send, or interact with SUI and other Sui-based assets within the app.
The wallet added native Sui access just 20 months ago, making it the fourth Layer 1 network supported by Phantom alongside Solana, Bitcoin, and Ethereum. The decision to end support is not tied to any security incident or network failure on Sui's end.
Phantom is also dropping Monad support on August 26, with users being directed through similar migration steps as those for SUI holders.
Despite the split, both Phantom and Sui have described the decision as mutual and left open the opportunity to explore other collaborations in the future. Users are advised to move their assets to a supported network or export their recovery phrase into another Sui-compatible wallet before September 24 to maintain control over their funds.
