Philippines Leaps Ahead in Digital Transformation at Philippine Blockchain Week
Philippine Blockchain Week (PBW) 2026 marked a significant shift in the country's digital transformation, according to organizers. The event, which drew over 12,000 local and international delegates, featured more than 150 speakers from around the world.
The theme of PBW 2026 was 'Decoded: Deployed,' emphasizing the practical deployment of emerging technologies such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, and digital assets. Rather than explaining what these technologies can do, the event demonstrated how they are already being used in government, finance, business, and everyday life.
Chezka Gonzales, Co-Founder of Philippine Blockchain Week, noted that the event reflected a vision to showcase Filipino talent, innovation, and resilience on the global blockchain map. She said, 'Philippine Blockchain Week is more than a conference. It's a platform where conversations become partnerships, partnerships become companies, and companies create opportunities for Filipinos.'
