Pi Network Completes Slice Token Distribution Amid Project's Price Volatility

Share

Pi Network, a blockchain project, has distributed its second testnet token called Slice through the Pi Launchpad. The distribution was completed after testing began on June 12 and ended on June 28. Approximately 480,000 users participated in the initial launch of the Launchpad on Pi Day 2026.

The team claimed that they generated valuable feedback from users during the first testnet token initiative, which helped improve the participation flow, mechanics, and user experience. The Slice token distribution is now live, and users can explore its functionalities through the Pi Browser app.

The native token of Pi Network has been experiencing volatility lately, with prices dropping to an all-time low of $0.07 in recent weeks. However, it surged by 20% daily last Sunday but failed to break through resistance. The project's token price continues to fluctuate, and users have reported issues with missing tokens and failed transactions in their Pi Wallets.
