Pi Network Expands Simulated DeFi Ecosystem with SLICE Test Token Distribution
Pi Network has expanded its simulated decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem by distributing SLICE test tokens to over 242,000 participating Pioneers. The event saw users commit a total of 15.92 million Test-PI to acquire 10 million SLICE tokens. This move introduces an Automated Market Maker (AMM) interface using a constant-product formula, allowing users to learn about decentralized liquidity pools, token swaps, and price tracking in a mobile-first testing environment.
The rollout aims to educate users on the inner workings of DeFi systems, enabling them to gain hands-on experience without risking real assets. By simulating market conditions, Pi Network provides a safe space for Pioneers to experiment with various financial instruments and strategies.
This development marks another step in Pi Network's efforts to create a comprehensive and user-friendly DeFi platform. With the introduction of SLICE test tokens and the AMM interface, users can now engage with key DeFi components in a controlled environment.
