Pi Network Price Rises Ahead of Crucial Upgrade and Fed Meeting
The Pi Network's price hovered around $0.095 on Saturday as traders prepared for its next infrastructure upgrade, Protocol 27. The crypto market saw a 1.15% increase to $2.65 trillion in the past 24 hours, with Ethereum's technical breakout and renewed institutional ETF inflows supporting the advance.
Protocol 27 entered Testnet 1 on August 21 after Protocol 26 reached Mainnet. The upgrade is targeting Mainnet activation on September 15, which could improve smart contract authentication, RPC infrastructure, and automated market maker liquidity pools.
Pi Network also introduced local application storage, staking data access, and native file-sharing tools last week. However, token unlocks and thin exchange liquidity may limit the impact of the upgrade on the price.
