Pi Network Price Rises Ahead of Protocol 27 Mainnet Upgrade

Share

The Pi Network price has been gaining traction, reaching $0.0917 on August 29, an increase of about 0.4% in 24 hours.

This comes as the protocol is set to upgrade to Protocol 27 on September 15, which will bring stronger smart contract authentication to the Mainnet.

The Testnet has already seen activity with developers testing escrow functions, decentralized exchanges (DEX), and automated market maker pools, but this does not necessarily translate to lasting demand for the coin.

The Pi Desktop is expanding its utility story, with Node version 0.6.2 adding OpenClaw and an Atlassian MCP Server to SoloHost.
