Pi Network Price Surges as Protocol 27 Mainnet Completion Nears
The Pi Network price has been steadily increasing, reaching $0.09771 and up 0.44% today. This increase has pushed against the upper boundary of a rising wedge that formed after the sharp July drop from $0.13 to $0.14. The Supertrend indicator currently reads $0.09 in buy mode, confirming the short-term trend remains bullish.
The 20-day and 50-day exponential moving averages (EMAs) are essentially flat and converging with price, while the 100-day and 200-day EMAs remain well overhead, trending down from earlier in the year. The Pi Network is targeting September 15 for Protocol 27's mainnet completion, which introduces more flexible and secure smart contract authentication.
GCV ambassador Dimas Nawawi advises the community to ignore short-term noise around PiDEX and Protocol 28, instead focusing on GitHub activity, particularly the PiCoinStellar project. He also repeated his usual advice: don't sell or transfer mined Pi to exchanges.
