Pi Network Protocol Upgrade Scheduled for September 15

Share

The Pi Network Core Team has announced that version 27 of the protocol will be implemented on September 15, marking the last planned upgrade.

This update comes after a long process of upgrading the protocol, which began in February with version 19.6 and continued with subsequent updates including v20.2, v25, and v26.

Version 27 will introduce more flexible and secure smart contract authentication capabilities, enabling advanced ways for accounts and apps to authorize transactions.
