Pi Network Secures Another Trading Venue as Binance and Coinbase Remain Out of Reach
Pi Network has secured another trading venue on SolCex, allowing users to trade Pi alongside Ethereum Classic and Canton Network's token. This new listing marks a significant step forward for the project, according to one commentator.
The addition of Pi to SolCex gives it exposure to deeper liquidity pools it hasn't tapped before, pairing it with established names like Ethereum Classic. The token now trades near $0.089, still down 97% from its all-time high of around $3 in February 2025.
Pi has yet to land on either Binance or Coinbase, despite ranking among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market value and boasting one of the largest communities in the crypto space. The token has secured spots on OKX, Gate, MEXC, and even Kraken, but these two exchanges remain out of reach for now.
A big supply question looms ahead with approximately 775.8 million more Pi tokens set to enter circulation later this year. If Pi's growing ecosystem of apps starts generating genuine spending activity by the time those tokens unlock, the added supply becomes easier to absorb. However, if usage doesn't materialize, the math works against the price.
