Pi Network Sets New Protocol Deadline as Solana Faces Potential Collapse
The Pi Network has announced its next major protocol update, version 26, which is set to be deployed on August 11. The team behind Pi stresses that all mainnet note operators must complete the upgrade before this deadline in order to remain connected to the network.
Additionally, the Pi Launchpad model has been detailed by the project's team. This ecosystem allows projects to issue tokens as tools to acquire users for their applications and integrate those coins directly into product functionality.
Solana's native cryptocurrency, SOL, has slipped 3% over the past week and is currently trading at around $73.50. Analyst Ali Martinez warns that a sustained close under this key zone might trigger further selling pressure and result in a collapse to $60 or even $50.
However, not all analysts are bearish on SOL. Crypto Zenkai believes that buying SOL below $80 is like investing in Bitcoin (BTC) in 2010, while Lucky sees the plunge under $75 as a 'juicy dip.'
