Pi Network SLICE Testnet Token Distribution Complete: What's Next?
Pi Network's SLICE testnet token distribution is now complete, and Pioneers can view their allocations in the Launchpad app. The distribution followed a participation period from mid-June to Pi2Day on June 28, 2026, during which over 242,000 Pioneers committed around 15.92 million Test-Pi, earning them a share of 10 million SLICE tokens.
The testnet token will never move to Mainnet and is meant to gather real feedback before rolling out ecosystem tokens for good. This data should guide how future Launchpad projects are designed.
The network has processed over 27.86 million blocks, with a current throughput of roughly 1.2 transactions per second. The Pi Network still trades on several exchanges, including OKX and Bitget, but remains far from its all-time high of $2.98 hit in February 2025.
Speculation about a potential Binance listing continues, as the exchange's community vote in favor of listing Pi back in February 2025 received 86% support.
