Pi Network SoloHost Update Arrives Amid Price Pressure
The Pi Network has released an update to its SoloHost feature, which allows node operators to run small apps on their own computers. The Pi Desktop 0.6.3 update includes new tools and features, such as app rankings based on active use, a 'My Apps' tool for developers, and a readiness probe that flags apps not responding correctly.
The update also brings smoother Docker Compose support and fixes login token bugs. SoloHost was launched in beta near Pi2Day in late June 2026 and has already run local AI tools like Hermes and OpenClaw.
Despite the fresh network updates, $PI coin's price is down 0.92% at $0.0961. The dip mirrors a wider slide across the crypto market, with thin volume contributing to sharp price swings either way.
