Pi Network Takes Step Towards x402 Compatibility with 405 Lines of Web3 Documentation
Pi Network developers have made a significant move towards compatibility with Web3 payment infrastructure. They submitted their first contribution to the x402 Foundation on September 1, which includes 405 lines of Pi Network interaction protocol documentation.
The documentation aims to help developers understand how Pi Network interactions may fit into Web3 payment infrastructure. This could eventually make it easier to explore applications that incorporate Pi into broader Web3 payment systems.
However, the contribution does not mean that Pi Network's Mainnet node code has become fully open source or that control over Pi Network nodes has been transferred to the x402 Foundation.
