PI Network Token Price Rises Ahead of Protocol 27 Upgrade

Share

The PI Network has seen its token price rise by roughly 3% over the past 24 hours to trade near $0.097 on Sept. 8, putting it within reach of $0.10 as its Protocol 27 mainnet upgrade approaches.

This move has taken PI back towards a resistance area that has capped the price for roughly two months at $0.0971.

The token is holding above its 50-day exponential moving average near $0.094 while pressing against that resistance on Tuesday.

PI has gained roughly 6% over seven days after starting September near $0.091, and derivatives activity has also picked up alongside the price recovery.

The Protocol 27 upgrade introduces more flexible smart contract authentication and lays infrastructure for RPC servers, decentralized exchange functions, and automated market maker liquidity pools.
