Pi Network Token Rebounds Amid Anticipation for Upcoming Upgrade
The Pi Network token saw a significant rebound of over 7% on March 20, reaching a price above $0.19 after plummeting nearly 50% in three days.
The surge came as attention turned to the project's upcoming v21 protocol upgrade.
Earlier this month, PI had climbed to a five-month high near $0.30 after Kraken announced it would list the token on March 13.
However, once trading went live on the exchange, a sell-the-news event triggered a multi-day slide that dragged the price back down to $0.175 earlier this week.
The Pi Network Core Team has been rolling out protocol upgrades at a steady clip, with v20.2 completed before March 14, laying the groundwork for smart contract support.
