Pi Network Unveils SoloHost and OpenClaw for Self-Hosted Apps

The Pi Network has made significant strides in its development, with the recent rollout of SoloHost and OpenClaw on Desktop Nodes. This update allows users to discover, install, and run self-hosted applications on their own machines without manual server setup.

SoloHost is a beta framework built into Pi Desktop that enables users to manage apps remotely through the Pi-Browser on mobile. The flagship app, OpenClaw, is an AI agent that runs local AI models or connects to external ones like ChatGPT or Claude, storing memory on-device in a restricted container.

The addition of SoloHost and OpenClaw marks a shift towards everyday computing tasks on the network's hardware, which was previously used for pure blockchain duties. This change offers users simple access to local AI tools without technical setup and opens a distribution channel for developers to reach over 420,000 active nodes.
