Pi Network's Price Surges as RoboPay Partnership and Upgrade Loom

Share

The price of Pi Network's PI token has surged over the past day by more than 11% to around $0.094, following a partnership announcement with RoboPay and an upcoming network upgrade.

According to CoinGecko data, PI rose from approximately $0.084 to above $0.094 during the past 24 hours, touching its highest level in nearly two weeks before easing slightly.

The partnership between Pi Network and Fabric Foundation allows PI to be used for payments across RoboPay's robotic payment infrastructure, which supports autonomous robots and AI-powered hardware running OpenMind's physical intelligence stack.

Protocol 26 Mainnet upgrade is also set to take place on August 11, which will improve several parts of the network, including state management, smart contract security, cross-network interoperability, and database migrations.
